I had an episode of chest niggles some months ago. Nothing that stopped me in my tracks. A stress test was ordered by my GP.
That stress test in late Dec 2007 shows I have signs of reversible ischemia and I'm now having to go for an angiogram.
The stress test was an echo, no drugs.
Now the bad parts...I'm almost 50yrs old, female, been a smoker for many years and I"m overweight.
I"m scheduled to have gastric banding on the 14th Jan and have been working very hard to be at my best for it. I've dropped 6 kilo in the past week, I'm now 8 days nicotine free and I have started walking in the mornings. I haven't felt this good in months. My BP today was 110/68.
I'm worried the angiogram results will mean I can't have my surgery.
Just wondered if anyone could give me an idea on reversible ischemia and how its treated.
thanks
