right rear artery

I just recently had a catherization done because I had been having shortness of breath when i go for my walks. the doctor that did the catherization stated that my right rear artery is blocked and that there is nothing more that he can do. he could not get a stent in and that to do a bypass would kill me. I already have 6 stents in. he told me that the right side of my heart is not functioning. and that also he could tell that I had had a silent heart attack. I'm scared because my twin identical twin sister dropped dead on 12/26/11 and I  would like to know  if  I could suddenly drop dead? or will I have another heart attack?

Well, if the right side of your heart was not functioning, then you would be dead already. The right side pumps used blood thru your lungs to obtain oxygen.
I think you need to establish two things. First an echo scan to establish how much your right side is functioning. Second, a nuclear scan to establish if you are developing collateral growth. These tiny vessels in many people open up and act as a natural bypass.
Has your Cardiologist given you any meds and explained lifestyle changes? Has he ensured your blood pressure is normal? has he ensured your cholesterol lipids are within the right tolerances for someone with artery disease?
If you have artery disease, you are at higher risk for heart attack. But like anything in life, there is no guarantee you will have another one.
Did he say why he couldn't stent it?
