My son is 40 days old and he got problem in breathing just after a few days of his birth. now the problem got severe. we consulted doctor and he advised to get echocardiogram of the child. I am sending you the findings of echocardiography. kindly suggest the suitable treatment method and give the best doctors' names in this field. Doctors here are suggesting surgery.please give your opinion.

It sounds like you son has sinus venosus ASD with associated anomalous drainage of the pulmonary vein which drains into the right side of heart, thereby, increasing pulmonary flow leading to pulmonary HTN. He needs surgery and there is a good chance that his condition will improve. This can be done best either here at the Cleveland Clinic by Dr. Smedira or in Mayo Clinic.
