risk factors

by mls18, Feb 23, 2008 11:36AM
I am taking several medications for cholesterol and blood pressure.  Liptor (liptor), zetia, niaspan, lovaza, avapro and triametrene.  I have responded well to these meds, my total cholesterol is 105, my ldl is 35, hdl is 50, triglycerides 100.  My family has a history of heart disease, and my question is, with my numbers where they are on these meds, are my risks for heart disease now in line with those who have normal numbers and no family history?  Also, is it possible for one's cholesterol to be too low?  Thank you for your response
