safe medication

I have SVT and take verapimil. I am allergic to naprosyn. Rheumatologist has prescribed Celebrex for me to try to see if it will help with the overall body pain. Is celebrex safe for me to take?

It depends on your allergy to Naprosyn.  Naprosyn (generic: naproxen, also called Aleve) is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which reversibly inhibits both COX-1 and COX-2 enzymes, leading to prostaglandin inhibition.  This results in antipyretic, analgesic, and anti-inflammatory effects.  Prostaglandins, however, protect the stomach and thus NSAIDs can lead to stomach irritation/bleeding.  Celebrex (generic: celecoxib) is also a nonsteroidal anti-inflamatory drug (NSAID), but it is COX-2 selective (it doesn't inhibit COX-1).  This allows more focused inhibition of prostaglandins outside the stomach which leads to less irritation of stomach lining.  
If your "allergy" is GI upset from Naprosyn, you may do fine taking Celebrex.  However, if your allergy is something like hives, shortness of breath, throat swelling, or anaphylaxis, it could be just as dangerous to take Celebrex.  Please bring this concern up with your rheumatologist who can further evaluate the risk given your allergy profile.  
As far as any interaction with Verapamil and Celebrex, there isn't a major interaction between these two drugs and they should be relatively safe taken together assuming you have no severe allergy to either.  Please discuss with your physician.
