sharp pain

by swegirl, Apr 18, 2005 12:00AM
Good morning! I am a woman with variant angina, it is nothing wrong with my heart says my cardiolog. I have had problems with burning pain in my legs and up around the left side of the chest since I took zoccor for one and a half month last fall .  But last week I had this burning pain around the chest and a sharp pain went through the  left side of the neck and over the chest and to the left hand forefinger. Do you think that it has something to do with my heart?

swegirl,

thanks for the post.

Chest pain is often difficult to diagnose in person, much less over the internet. WIthout knowing the specifics of your situtation it is impossible to tell.  The location of your symptoms are cncerning.  I would sit down and review your case with a skilled internist to tease out the cause.

good luck
