sharp pains in left shoulder blade and chest

by sonny372, Jan 10, 2008 05:40PM
I have been having pain in my left shoulder blade and some tightness and pain in my chest for the last week. two months ago i has an echocardiogram and in october i had a 64- slice ct scan done with zero calcification. Why am i experiencing these pains? I read somewhere online that this could be a sign of an impending heart attack. Is it possible that i have blockage that wasn't detected by the scan? I also get skipped heart beats from time to time. I have also had ecg's that were done and one said lateral infarction, however, i showed this test to a cardiologist and he said it was nothing and that this looked like a normal ecg.  Can anyone relate or help me?
