shooting pain in my right rib inside breast

I had tripple bypass surgary on the 6th of October 2008 4 weeks ago. sonce then I had pain on my right side of chest shooting [ain under my right  breast.. The pain was worse than the sternum bone. It was also in my back right side also. After 4 weeks the pain on my ribs on the right is as bad as it was in the beginninga, Only the  x ray of my front chest was taken which the surgeon says does not show any broken ribs .He says there  may have been  fracture due to osteoporosis which will repair itself and nothing can be done . Take more pain killers. Is there any pain killer injection which can be given in the ribs so that i can start rehabilitation excercises  and i can have a good night sleep . I'm suffering with shooting pains in my right ribs and shoulder also.I always take pain killers before I go to bed.
It is worse to go to bed.
Please help me if you had the same experience. If you are a doctor suggest me something. thanks
