should I be concerned with a high protein level?

should I be concerned with a high protein level?

My Dr ordered blood work bc I've been feeling very fatigued lately.  I get winded just from walking up the stairs and feel like my heart is pounding in my chest.  When I attempt to work out, I have a hard time bc I can't keep my heart rate under 170bpm.  I'm a 36 yr old female, weight fluctuates btwn 115 and 120 lbs and have been a vegan for 5 months now (previously a vegetarian for 1 year).
I just rec'd my blood work results and found that my HDL level is out of range on the low side at 44.  I also noticed that my protein level is still on the high side being 8.1 .  Should I be concerned?
In the past (about 5 years ago) I had a protein in my urine and also 8.4 protein level in my blood along with a high potassium level- this was found out just prior to my surgery for endometriosis... the Dr at the time didn't seem concerned but I'm getting a little worried that every time I get blood work done my levels are always on the high side for protein.  Please let me know what could cause this and if I should be concerned.
