I AM 73 YEARS OLD AND MY RESTING HEART GOES AS LOW AS 35 AND HAS GONE AS LOW AS 31 BPM. MY CARDIOLOGIST SEEMS TO THINK THIS IS OK. HOWEVER, i HAVE IRRIGULAR HEART BEAT ALL DAY. HOWSLOW DOES YOUR HEART BEAT HAVE TO GO BEFORE IT IS DANGEROUS. I DONT FEEL WELL AND I AM DIZZY SOMETIMES ALL DAY. DO I NEED A SECOND OPPINION

If you have an irregular heart beat there is a higher chance of a blood clot.  Are you on blood thinners?  My Dad lives with an irregular heart beat.  He takes Coumadin for a blood thinner.  His heart beat sometimes is 35 and sometimes is over 100.  I am more curious as to what your blood pressure is.  If you are feeling light headedness (not sure if you are) it could be low blood pressure.  Are your arms and legs cold?
