splinter hemorrhages

hello, i noticed 2 identical thin lines in both my thumb nails just a few days ago which i believe are splinter hemorrhages. they are the exact same length and in the exact same position and i have never seen them before. as they are identical and definitely not due to trauma could it really be due to a heart problem?

* Vitamin C anaemia/scurvy
* Blood clotting diseases  
* Cirrhosis
* Mitral stenosis
* Overactive thyroid disease (known as thyrotoxicosis)
* Certain drugs like asprin
