I am a 65 yr old female, I have CAD that is inheired from father. In 1995 I had major M.I.They did a double bypass. After all these years with much chest pain and several hospital stays, it was discovered that both grafts had failed and I only had one artery working and it was 70% blocked I was given no chance to live. I was sent to a famous heart doctor in Dec. 2007 He put 4 stents in the one artery during the procedure, they damaged main artery and balloon was lodged in circumflex . the balloon was rescued They put 4 drug-eluting stents in artery . It was described as Occlusion of the right coronary and high grade stenosis of the proximal LAD which was calcified and toruous. Since procedure I have been very weak, with chest pain that at times is severe, on exertion, it gets much worse and I sweat heavily. Yesterday I went back for heart cath. The stents and damaged area were working fine, but no one will tell me why I still have pain and why I am so weak
