im a 31 year old male. 6 months ago i had a hard heart palp that almost made me faint, never had heart palps before. now after 6 months, i have been feeling slowly, gradually sicker by the week. i feel nauseated and very fatigued, my BP and pulse tend to be highly eratic especially under the Least of stressors. At face value, it sure does seem like anxiety, and I'm not ashamed to admit that as I dont have much of an ego, but I can't ignore the fact that i feel so very ill even laying or sitting quietly in the peace of my own home - I feel the exact same, physically speaking at home with my loved one as I would in a crowded open area, though I haven't been going out too much because I need to lay down frequently.
During my stress test, my pulse was high eratic and exceeded 200 almost immediately, and I didn't get very far needless to say. Though, the doctor thought I was just "out of shape"
Of note, just 6 months ago I could exercise with a pulse of 170 all day without sequalae
Once again to recap: i began having heart palps, aggrivated after intense exercise. Exercise sessions leave me feeling beat up and even more ill.
The single most troublesome part of this whole situation is...I feel in a way like I have a nasty viral infection that Just won't go away, save sneezing etc..nausea, fatigue, chest discomfort, heart palps, tachycardia which is very sensitive to external stimuli. My rhythm is normal per Holter monitor. The heart palps often feel upper/left abdominal and sometimes I feel breathless during them.
Indeed, to the casual observer, I appear to have a severe anxiety disorder, which I do suspect this may be a component of my problems, but only as a result of the way I feel, not the cause. My symptoms wax and wane in intensity through the day. Sometimes eating a lot of carbs helps for the time being slightly. all the usual tests including echo and thyroid normal. PLEAse help
