You are so welcome, I am only speaking froim experience, I had a normal Thallium test in 2006 & 2007 and it took a third work up in 2008 before I began to re-evaluate my life. It's easy to get worked up, I know. I think you'll do great!

Overall, a nuclear stress test is about 85 - 90% accurate.Your chance of a cardiac event after a normal nuclear stress test is about 1.62% per year for the next 10 years,  better than a sampling of the general public. Normally, a blockage will show up once it hits approx 70% occluded.

I know you read about people that have a stress test that is normal and drop dead the next day, don't get too worked up about that. Remember, people that have normal test results and no further issues don't post on these forums, they have no reason to. You mostly hear about the exceptions. Of the thousands and thousands of normal stress tests everyday, none of them will make the news or hit the forums. Take your good test results and be happy, live your life going forward like you have no coronary heart disease and make lifestyle changes to keep it that way.

I hope this helps, congrats again now RELAX and enjoy life!
