stress test result

hello i just got results from a stress test. this is what is says:
Interpretation: Summary:Resting ECG:abnormal borderline.functional capacity:moderately decreased (20%-30%).HR response to excercise:appropriate. BP response to exercise:normal resting BP-approriate response. Chest pain:non limiting post exercise. Arrythmias:none. ST changes:1.0 mm depression. Overall impression: less than significant ST depression.

Conclusion: Less than significant ST depression.no chest pain with exercise.reduced exercise tolerance. resting tachycardia 120

can anyone explain this to me please. cant seem to get any info on it. i also have an abnormal left ventricular diastolic function and septum shows possible abnormal motion.

also abnormal diastolic function with pseudonormalization pattern is present.

please explain in more understandable words

I think it would be best if you asked the cardiologist who performed this test to explain it to you, since he knows your history. You have at least moderate diastolic dysfunction, which means that your heart does not fill properly. Also, there is some evidence of inadequate contraction versus deconditioning or inappropriate sinus tachycardia based on your resting heart rate. I don't know which as I don't know your medical history. You also have very significantly diminished functional capacity. All of these are not only abnormal but high risk findings in a stress test, with predictive abilities far superior to that of EKG abnormalities. I would definitely speak to your cardiologist about this test, and what he exactly plans on doing to address these worrisome findings.
