subaortic stenosis

subaortic stenosis

I am 34 year old woman and have been diagnose with aortic stenosis. My doctor said that I don't need a valve transplant but I have develop tissue around my aortic that needs to be cut away because it is restricting blood flow. I wanted know is there anyway this surgery can be done without going through open heart. If no is there anyway to minimize the scaring.I have been trying to find photos of what my chest would look like but my doctor say's that I shouldn't worry about that.  Although I know my life is very important to me, I still don't want to have to where shirts up to my neck for the rest of my life.  I am very scared about the surgery. they tell me getting something like this is just bad luck and think stenosis developed shortly after my strepp.  I saw a procedure using your blood to make a gel to put over your scars to help the healing faster and to reduce scaring. can this also be used for my type of heart surgery.
please help

I have a 52 yr old husband who just suffered a massive stroke a few months back due to a heart disorder. He still can not go to the bathroom by himself. I tell you this because you are a young woman with a heart issue that needs open heart surgery and your priorities are about your scar that you will be left with. I am sorry, but I dont get it. I would be more worried about my surgery and future complications, in the same breath I will tell you that prior to surgery get an appoitment with a dermotologist or a plastic surgeon and they will give you the information you are looking for. If it is that important to you then trying methods that are iffy at best will only leave you feeling like you should have done something else. Numerous companies will try an sell you their prodcut that they will say works best, but  a doctor who deals with scarring will know better than a company out to get your money...and btw...good luck with your surgery.

Thank you so much for your comment. I find the need to respond to you in regards to your thought that I am more concern about potential scaring than my actual health. I am sorry if my comments have left that perception. My reason for leaving a comment is more so to find out if anyone knows of any alternative for my particular procedure. I ask because open heart surgery is so major and I am so very much scared about the whole operation in general. I have been reading comments about certain procedures going through the back or through your side. I just wanted some feed back if anyone knew of any other alternatives. I by no means am demeaning my health issues but as a young women, when all is said and done, I would like to know if there is anyway to minimize scaring. I know I can't be the only one who have asked this question. I'm just saddened that instead of getting information that I want and need, I ended up with a scolding for asking a question that I know that can not be out of the norm. I do thank you for the information that you did give and I wish you and your husband the best of health.
