sudden sweat normal ekg and heart enzymes

Three days ago,I had an episode of sudden sweating and feeling bad-something like being flushed. I got worried so I looked up sudden sweats on the internet and found it could be a sign of a heart attack. THis scared me very much and so I got a little panicky and got more flushed and got the feeling I recognize when people have told me I look pale.
The sweats lasted about 5 minutes and the panicky feeling came and went for hours. The episode and the feat associated with it are combined enough so I can't completely tell them apart.

Then I went to the emergency room and had 2 ekgs and 2 blood tests, one about 2 hours after my episode and the other about 6 hours after. Everything was normal.
The emergency room scheduled me for a stress test and told me someone would call me soon in regards to it.

I'm 51, 25# overweight, have parox. afib for 14 years that's been controlled by Flecainide for a couple of years.
I take:
150 mg Flecianide twice a day
240 mg Diltiazem time release once a day (rate controller in case I go into afib)
15? mg Lipitor once a day
325 mg aspirin once a day
500 mg Keflex twice a day (about halfway through week prescription)
500 mg Valtrax twice a day (about halfway through 5 day prescription)

What could the episode have been ?

The type of sweating you described associated with the subsequent symptoms makes me more concerned about some sort of a vagal episode or a panic attack, not so much as heart attack.  Either way, the ED physicians did a great job ruling out the common causes.  You should also have a stress test.  I am not sure whether the keflex or the valtrex could cause any of this but that may be worth looking into especially that you recently started these meds.  The only other thing worth considering is whether or not you had an episode of atrial fibrialltion or atrial flutter that felt unusual for you.  This would be less likely.  I think that as long as this episode doesn't return and your stress test is OK, I wouldn't do any further testing.
