swelling in hands and eyes

Is it possible that swelling that began in my late 20's and has lasted now that Iam going to turn 41 would have any coralation with heart disease? I am very concerned ,my left arm was badly burned at age 2 ,last week I saw a plastic surgeon and next week Iam goin to have both hands tested by aneuroligit.But the problem in my right han,the swelling and numbness has me deeply concerned.The plastic surgeon thinks it is arthritis,I failed to mention the swelling in my eyes.My question is what kind of doctor should I see?And I wolud welcome any theories to what my problem is

Swelling confined to your hands and eyes is very unlikely due to heart disease. There are kidney disorders in which you can gain fluid that can make you swell up, but it is not too likely that this has been going on for several years (without progressing to something worse). Probably you should see an internist as a first step.

I JUST GO STRAIGHT TO A UROLOGIST MY LOWER RIGHT SIDE SEEMS TO ACHE AT TIMES. I HAVE HAD KIDNEY INFECTIONS AND EVEN KIDNEY STONES IN THE PAST,MAYBE ISHOULD BE MORE CONCERNED WITH THIS PROBLEM THAN THE SKIN GRAFTING ON MY LEFT ARM.THANKS AGAINFOR A PROFESSIONAL OPINION,I GO HAVE BOTH HANDS TESTED BY A NEOROLOGIST TOMORROW AND PLAN ON GOING FROM THERE.AGAIN THANK YOU FOR LISTENING AND THE QUICK RESPONSE,ANY MORE IDEAS LET ME KNOW-THANXS

Would swelling in the right eye and poor vision in it indicate a possible heart problem?

Swelling and poor vision in your right eye does not make me think of a heart problem. I would suggest seeing an opthalmologist.

I have noticed swelling in the top of my left eye a few months ago but now I noticed in in my right eye I have seemed a litlle stressed could it be related?
