symptoms of heart disease in females

I have been reading on various internet sites that the symptoms of heart disease are different for females than for males.  Is that true, and if so, what are the symptoms for females?

Indigestion?  Then how would you know if it's that or your heart?  I have just recently ( a month or so) been getting indigestion, my sister says what I describe is not indigestion. I won't mention it to my cardio., though because I don't want to be a hypercondriac (sp).  Does this sound like indigestion: A mild pain on left side that goes thru to my back?  A couple of times I burped (excuse me), so I figured definitely indigestion.  Other times it just a feeling of fullness (undigested food?), usually in the morning.  Pretty dumb, huh, not even knowing what indigestion is?
