Hi Karie,
Hope you get this, sorry for the delay. It's been a busy week.
Never heard of a tilt table test, sounds interesting. The only cardiac issue I have, if it is, is high BP off and on. I also had gestational diabetes with my two children. Don't know too much about my biological parents, because I was adopted.
BKJ: I did go to my Family Dr., blood pressure still high, and was put on a beta blocker. Fasting blood sugar @ 120, and a couple other tests done, could be pre-diabetes he says. I'm returning next month for follow up. Thanks for the good words.
marching on
I had a tilt table test done after much dizziness and low b/p 96/60. hormones and menstrual cycles can take alot out of our bodies too.
I watch my diet and exercise daily ,drink alot of water and two bananas a day for potassium.
Do you have additional cardiac issues?
I started experiencing symptoms at 26.
marching,
The difference really isnt that concerning and certainly isnt the main focus of where your diagnostic issues are right now. It high however, and should be repeated by a physician in his/her office to see if the high value of your systolic blood pressure remains.
Syncope can be caused by many different conditions. You should work with your physician to figure out what was the cause of your episode.
good luck
