syncope confused

by Lizzness, Apr 11, 2008 12:37PM
Ill give you the story..you tell me what you think :)

I am 24 and very healthy.

When I was 16/17 I had to have my blood taken. I  had not slept or eaten. They took two vials and I blacked out an woke up on a table. The doctors said I just ha low blood sugar or something and it was no big deal.So I forgot about it. Never happened that way again.
I was living in Guam for a few months this last Oct. I woke up took a shower got dressed and walked two blocks to the store got a tuna sandwich and some water an some alieve for my toothache (my only bad luck in life has been my teeth. wisdom teeth are compacted) I got to work hung out started feeling kinda funny and dizzy.I grabbed my water thinking I was dehydrated and bothered by the humidity. I drank some and sat down at the bar told my friend I wasnt feeling well and woke up on the floor covered in blood. Apparently I passed out and fell foward hard enough to brake my nose on the bar and then hit the floor. An ambulance came and I felt shaky as they took my down stairs and to the hospital. I was so frightened I couldnt stop crying. They gave me an IV and blood test and ekg. They said the only reasons I would have syncope were because I was pregnant or had a heart problem (preg test negative and EKG  normal) So I thought maybe it was alieve which Ive never had before(normally tylonol) and an isolated incident.

A few weeks later I woke up and had a cigarette with a friend and started to feel that special dizzy lightness so I layed down and it went away.

Then in March I was back in CA cutting a friends hair and cut my finger. I washed my hand. Sat down while she looked for a band aid and told her I didnt feel good.within seconds I fell on the floor. I woke up my standard 30-60 seconds later with my leg twisted and hurting and confused.I felt dizzy still so my friends put me lying down on the couch and all of a sudden I knew I was going to vomit. And I did twice I had eaten some mac and cheese 10 min before starting the hair cut..it wasnt the blood..I love gory movies. Maybe just stress?

I have been going through a lot in life lately. But its not much different than the difficult things Ive delt with before. Maybe it just added up to this? When I even try to read about what disorders I might have I get all flustered and want to cry (Im not normally that way)

For the last few weeks Ive been itchy and I thought I might be allergic to our laundry soap. Then last night my boyfriend looked at the marks on my back and said maybe I have shingles. It looks like it on one side but I have random spots and shingles is supposed to be in only one connected patern. I also dont have any pain. Im just itchy. Boyfriend says well when was the last time this happened and I remembered tat once a few years ago I had it happen in the same spot. just a little rash that itched..It would be there for a few weeks then go away and come back later.

Could this all be related?
Could it be shingles if I have no pain?
Could I have a tumor or other neurological problem causing both these things?

any advice would be helpful
