taking bactrim when having long qt
My cardiologist told me I have long qt syndrome not the congential kind and my family doctor prescribed the generic form of bactrim for my sinus and ear infection.  My cardiologist is out of town but the nurse at the cardiologists office told me if my doctor knew my history and prescribed it then it would be okay.  I have also had a cardio conversion and cardio ablation done because of my atrial fibrillation, which since having both done my heart rate is runnining in the 50 and 60 and everything is is fine. I just want to know if the bactrim is okay for me to take. I have to be on it for 10 days twice a day.
