temporal throbbing/fluttering

temporal throbbing/fluttering

I had a near fatal MI in Oct. 2007, I am doing fairly well, but lately have been under considerable stress.  I also had a recent waterskiing fall with a mild concussion as a result.  I am concerned about a troubling symptom that persists of late.  My left temple artery or vein throbs and is fluttery.  It isn't the same as the right; the right has a regular pulse and the left is like a river with rapids.  It botherrs me immensely, aches, all I can do is go to bed.  Is this a cardiac issue?  Is is merely a migraine?  Doesn't feel like it; I don't really have a headache, it's more like a dull ache and this twitching.  Then, if I put my fingers on it, it's weird, like I said, fluttery, rapid, irregular and isn't the same as the left.  My wife is worried it's a sign of something circulatory.  Help?

I would have it checked out. Perhaps there was some damage to a vessel there.
