tetralogy of fallot

my baby girl has has oh surgery to correct tof tetralogy of fallot ,but still problems . she had the repair done in march 06 ,she will be three in march 07.but she still doesnt talk and always bumps her head on the floor or couch ect ,has any one had this problem with their baby ,weather or not they have had oh surgery or not   need answers

Besides speech is she delayed in other areas such as gross motor skills, fine motor skills etc?

when you say gross motor skills ,not sure explain she did have a time learning to walk ,but that was right after surgery,we have her set up to see a phy doctor,Im worried more about her bumping her head. thanks   pp

my son is now 13 and was born with TOF with Pulmonary Atrasia.He had similar delays growing  up but eventually caught up.He didnot have surgery until he was 7 since this wasnot available where we lived at the time.He still has afew challenges and still is physically slower than the average teen.He is in special education due to the effect of the language delay on his writing skills.He however is a typical teen and is always very happy and appreciative of everything in life.
