trapped gas - and b.p meds ?

Do b.p meds cause , trapped gas to happen ?  as iv noticed over the years - being on meny b.p meds before.
I seem to get trapped gas (real bad ) at times - when on any b.p medication !  the worse case of trapped gas being on a ccb !!!  as it effects my whole upper body and belly -  due to the pains I had - I ended up twice in the E.R for it
as thought it was a heart attack happening to me , however it was not !  

could the trapped gas problem , be a side effect or interaction between foods and the medications ?  
anyone had this problem ??    

by the way, I eat blan foods - tonight I ate a simple sub sandwitch - msg maybe ? in the veggies or meats ?
well whatever, wont be eatting that again ..

Anyone know of anykind of treatment or cure for heartburn , and or getting rid of trapped gas build up and bloating
belly conditions ??  that is natural or near natural ?

Have you tried the OTC products like GasX or Beano? I've used GasX with baby mammals and it worked quite well to reduce the bloating (seriously - for example if I get a baby squirrel in that someone has fed it cows milk, the sq. can't digest it and will develop bloat which can be fatal. The GasX works quite well)

Knew I could count on you to help !  
I have been taking the gas x  extra strong soft pills - however have to take 2 or 3 pills to
stop the gas ! or bloating conditions.  whats worse I put on about 12 pounds when on beta blocker med - 5 to 7months ago (past )  now that im on ccb - the waight wont drop
even when walking or working out ! it just stays !!!  anyways I think that adds to my problem with cramping and pains !  and gas bloating belly that will push upwords and expand at times !!  

wonder if there is another gas x pill form , that works better !  
I sometimes wish I could just push my belly and release all the gas inside that tank !

I'm sorry that wasn't the answer. Bloating and gas is miserable. Letting it out is much more fun (oops, did I just admit to that? LOL)

its good and bad feelings -  the good feeling is letting it all go !  no matter how it comes
out !  bad feeling is when it wont let go ! and builds up and cause's pains and cramping

I was able to sleep last night all night long - first time in 2days -
however when getting up - within 5mins had gas pains again ? was dehydrated - so drank water and it helped alot.. but im getting some side and back pains and bloating
again ??  I think really im totaly allergic to the medications im on !!  so will stop them
asap !   and try some natural meds -  for a few days ! as to calm down the problem !
or stop it !    last visit to the Doctor - he wanted to up the doseage on both meds ?
and said I was fine and the bloating was normal ?  needless to say I refused to do that !

Im looking up a specialist now for my poor belly problems !

I avoid meds as much as possible but some meds, if you've been on them for awhile, can have a nasty effect if you go off them suddenly. That's something you can ask a pharmacist. Do be careful.

I agree with you - I about 99% sure I have Gerd - as all the symptoms fit ,plus I confirmed
that Gerd can happen when taking most if not all b.p meds for long term !  the symptoms
fit the bill. tonight im suffering again -as I made the misstake of drinking milk - I woke up
1a.m with ,well reflux -and gas pains !  so if the shoe fits , its on my foot now !!

I am looking into somekind of Natural cure for it -  or treatment other than chemicals !
as zentac works ok - for a while -  I did find gas x works the best , in some cases...

I think for the most part , the Gerd is a known side effect from long term use of meds
for b.p.  so maybe its time to cutt back and or get off them asap!   and go natural ..
but ween slowly !!   so the impact isnt as bad to the system !   as before I just stopped
taking the meds.. so b.p spiked high on me !  shock of my system !  

I over the years while on b.p meds gained waight !  belly fat !  and have hair loss and
thinning hair , vision problems -  ear ringing at times !   and a few other bad things.
now this !  that has been going on for years ,  I want to point out, before being on meds
I never had any of these happen !  I was skinny - never fat belly !  my hair was normal
no baldness in family  both sides !!  my vision was normal - untill diovan !!  
ears were normal never a problem !   I never got heartburn ! untill I was on the meds !

I have to say being honest to all -  the so called good meds for b.p  have distoryed my life and what was normal isnt !   they have done me harm !  and caused more problems
than is worth taking them !    

for me its totaly bad uncareing Doctors iv had and poor healthcare services , that only think of money !  nothing more !!  
and lies !!!   and medications that do more harm than good - and are called safe ?
that is a joke !!  

I could go on and on and rant about the whole deal.. but im boreing to all
so boggernose , will stop here !

and will tell you the facts about drugs !  too bad the doctors iv had before didnt tell me

You ask a very good question !  

Its like this : if I get off the meds weeing slow - my b.p tends to spike high on me..
close to stroke out numbers !  I have tryed a few times , even taking natural meds that really dont work well .. at least not for me !  

I keep thinking ,that maybe I will find a good careing Doctor -somewhere within the system - and might get the help I need or want .. so I keep trying ..

today I found a good careing Doctor ,but shes a foot doctor only.  thats too bad , as
she was so nice and helpfull , and knew about meds totaly and didnt mess around with handing me samples - or things like that..  she made my day !

God knows there has to be somekind of b.p med , that has no or less side effects
out there ,that works well for us poor folks that have problems taking meds for h.b.p.

untill then , I will keep trying - crying - and pushing ahead !  
unless I find a natural way to stop the h.b.p .. then I will close the door on Doctors and
chemical meds forever !

I wouldnt say that at all .  they lower blood pressure - and can keep you from having
a storke or heart attack !  however from what iv read , that isnt always the case , as some people can still have a stroke or heart attack when on the medications ?  
it just depends I guess ?   for me they work to lower b.p down , but I cant take the side effects I get from the meds - plus dealing with idiot doctors that dont care beans about me or my problems !  so I keep searching and looking for someone that cares and will treat me right ..and give the right medication that works for me !  

being on b.p meds - is like being behind a 8 ball -  your dammed if you ! dammed if you dont !  

I am also looking into Natural ways to lower blood pressure !  and will be testing a new
process 100% natural.   soon !!  if it works , I can say goodbye to all chemical drugs
and non careing doctors !  

but again  its hit and miss !  so we will see what happens !


did you ever hear of the story of old woman , who had problems with side effects from b.p meds - doctors took her off the medications due to that ! and said shes better off
living with high blood pressure .. she lived to 96yrs old
