The strangest thing about my heart attacks is that the pain was not what you see on TV.  I put off going to the ER for 3 days with the first heart attack I had.  I just wasn't feeling that bad.  I wasn't feeling good and thought something was wrong, but a heart attack didn't register with me.  It's a good idea to pay attention to the symptoms you have no matter how mild they might be.

Not everyone gets the same symptoms. The ones you describe as NOT having are the 'typical' ones, but by no means the only ones. Some people feel nothing at all.
