Thank you all for your comments and support. I will check out the sites. Good luck to you all Kate
If you are passing out you should NOT be driving. pots.org is a good site, as mentioned above.
Hey Katy,
Go to pots.org and scroll down the page until you see Nuerocardiogenic Syncope which is just another name for what you are asking about. Click on the title. Plenty of info there.
Katy,
Google "Syncope While Driving", there is some information there.
Hope this helps.
Hi and welcome!
I think the tilt table to test is done to see what happens when you change positions or when your blood pressure changes. If I understand correctly, it will place you in positions to "challenge" your heart rhythm and your vasovagal response.
Sorry to hear you are dealing with syncope.
I'm not sure how they treat someone with vasovagal syncope, but maybe something to regulate blood pressure. I remember a doctor telling me a long time ago, that I could take something call procardia b/c my BP was low. Never took it though.
Hope the test goes well and that you are able to get some relief from the fainting spells.
Well, I think everyone quit writing today cause someone was having conversations theirself. It's been pretty heated be careful.
Thank you, its not that slow :)
I'll comment to get your question back to the top.
Hang in there. Don't give up on finding help.
