Hello I am male 30 years old . I have 190 lbs, 5.9 feet.
I have been taking Omega 3(fish oil) and Coenzyme q10 for a while.
I notticed that coenzyme q10 caused my pulse to go up at 108, so I stopped it for 2 weeks now.
When I was taking Coenzyme q10 my blood pressure was 125/85.
Now my blood pressure is 145/85 .and my pulse 90.
What should I do?
Which pills should I take? I am scared to take beta-blockers because of their side effects on sexual potence.
Should I start taking again Coenzyme q1o ?
Or should I take an ACE inhibitor?

Unfortunately, it is impossible to make recommendations on medical therapy for hypertension without a clinical exam, history, and basic blood work to evaluate electrolytes and renal function. There are a number of first-line antihypertensives that can be implemented, but vary from patient to patient (based on the aforementioned). Given that you are 30 years of age, I would suggest you see retain a physician to evaluate your general health. Basic blood work such as your lipid profile (in addition to your blood pressure) can be evaluated at that time. It may be recommended that the first-line treatment be lifestyle modification including a healthy, low-salt diet, with regular cardiovascular exercise, rather than pharmacotherapy.
