The pain reliever makes sick to my stomach. How much longer do I have to suffer? I go back to work next week but will not be able to if in this type of pain. someone please advise

I wonder if it's possible that a nerve was cut during your procedure and the pain is transferred down to that area.  I've had the same surgery, but didn't experience what you are experiencing, but I did have foot surgery years ago that resulted in toe pain, and it was a nerve issue.  I'd sure talk to the doctor who did the procedure.

Thank you for your response. I did speak to the doctor and he said that it is to be expected because they spread the ribs to get to the heart. I just dont understand why 1 day is good and the other day painful. I pray that the nerve was not cut and the pain just goes away real soon. Thank you for your help.
