why does it seem that mvp is being taken so lightly?

I am 34 years old and was diagnosed with mvp 2 years ago. I had an echo and was told i havetrivial mitral and tricuspid insufficiancy noted,, non specific thickening of the anterior mitral leaflet notedwith late systolic prolapse, can you tell me what all of this means since my echo wasnt fully explained to me. my symptoms include palps tachycardia skipped beats at times. jittery feelings hypersensitive nervous system, sleep problems.just to name a few of the big ones. i feel i have whats called the mitral valve prolapse syndrome where the nervous system is also afected  i would like to know why this syndrome part of mvp seems to be blown off by medical persons. mvp itself doesnt even seem to get the recognition it deserves. thousands of people from all walks of like seem to have the same symptoms that affect the nervous system when the mvp came out are we all just immaging it? and just because it cant be fully explained by science does that make it not exist but only in our minds? i would like an answer to that question please mostly. regarding mvp...S also i was told i have mvp and to go home and not worry its a benign condition. more and more i am researching the fact that mvp is more than a benign condirion people do die from it and need valve replacement repair surgery. why are we with mvp told to go home and not worry? why is mvp and mvps  kind of just blown off and trivialized. thanks

Trival mitral and triscuspid insufficiancy means mild backflow of blood through these valves.  The rest of the findings refer to the MVP.  As far as the second part of your question I think it is more retorical and not something I can really answer.  Keep looking for a doctor that will take your complaints seriously.  There are many that will.  Good luck.
