Ischemia is a medical term that means lack of normal blood/oxygen flow to a particular area of the heart.  Most of the time blood flows normally to the area in question when the individual is at rest.  Ischemia can cause chest pains.

Positive stress induced ischemia indicates when there is exertion the blood supply is not adequate to supply the need for more blood/oxygen and there is chest pain, etc.  With rest there are no symptoms.  The stress test involves an interjection of a dye substance and the flow of the blood can be observed is the procedure.

Hope this helps and if you have any further questions you are welcome to respond.  Thanks for the question, take care.
