wpw syndrome

i was diagnosed with wpw syndrome this year and i don't understand what it is.  the doctors told me it causes episodes of fast heartbeats.  can you give me more information on it.  and also, i am 16 and have have acne.  could the disorder be causing this?

Acne is in no way related to WPW syndrome. WPW is caused by an abnormal connection between the electrical connections in the heart. It can cause very rapid, irregular heart beats. It is often treated by a procedure called radiofrequency ablation in patients who are having episodes of fast heart beats. The cure rates are excellent.
