Has anyone heard of a case like this?
My mother,68, had a stroke on 1/25/13. Unbeknownst to us, she had a heart problem. So after the stroke, when sodium flush was administered, my mother immediately went into congestive heart failure then into multi-system organ failure. Doctors brought up the idea of giving her an LVAD (left ventricular assist device) but after evaluation at the university of Florida, they determined she is not a candidate because of the stroke. I am looking for ANYONE who has had a similar experience as my mothers. I just want information. Has this happened to anyone else before? In the same order?
