This patient support community is for discussions relating to heart rhythm issues, arrhythmia, irregular heartbeat, implanted defibrillators, pacemakers, and tachycardia.
My advice to you- find another electrophysicist cardiologist and get another opinion. I would not go back to this one since she is dismissing your symptoms. Heart racing is NOT a lung/breathing problem.
Good luck, keep us posted on your news.
Sorry to read of your difficulty and agree you should see a new/different Cardiologist/EP.
You didn't mention what you HR is when in Tachycardia. The best I can offer is a couple of questions that may help others understand.
You say the problem is driven by right side atrial tachycardia. Does this mean the atrial high HR continues and much of it results in ventricle HB (I think that is the HB we feel, measure).
I suffer from Atrial Fibrillation, which I guess could be called left side atrial tachycardia, but I have never heard it called that. All this means is I'm don't have the training/experience to juggle the terminology.
I hope you find an EP that gets you on the fix. From the little I know about ablation, I do understand that it often takes more than one try to achieve success.
