21 yr old male chest pain

i am 21 turning 22. i am iraq war vet and live a high stress life. i was out shopping the other day after checking out i started having bad chest pains and problems getting a full breath. i started driving thinking it was just whatever. the pain started increasing and breathing got heavier. ended up pulling over and wife started driving. i was in alot of pain from chest started crying i have numbness in my arm due to war injury but my whole left arm was numb and hurt to move it. i was confused with a bad headache. my wife said i soon after passed out for several minutes she got out of traffic and pulled into a gas station. she did a sternum rub and i awoke not remembering anything so. whats wrong with me.

Sorry to hear about your experience. You are asking what is wrong with you? Did you not go to the ER immediately following this chest pain followed by syncope (fainting)? It really is difficult for anyone here to tell you exactly what is wrong with you. The best we can offer is an assumption based on the few symptoms you mention.

There could be many reasons for you to have experienced the symptoms that you did. They range from dehydration, indegestion, vasovagal response to the pain you were in that then resulted in you loosing conciousness.

I'm sure that there are many more things that could explain this but I strongly urge you to get to your Dr and have yourself evaluated. All of the symptoms you mention could be from a benign condition, but they could also be the warning signs to something more serious. Please call you Dr and get this checked out:)
