28 year old females Heartrate

Hi, I am a 28 year old female and my heart rate is in the 80's. Is this normal? I do feel that when my BP is about to be checked my anxiety goes up and could cause the heart rate to jump a bit.

The 80s is well within normal heart rate range.   If it was over 100 while you were sitting there getting it checked, that is called tachycardia.

The normal rate for a woman is actually 82 and for a man is 72. so you are perfectly normal!

Dont worry :)

Just being aware of your heartrate can increase it, 80s-90s is completely normal, especially if you are a bit anxious.

If you get heart rates up to 120s-130s during small anxiety attacks, and 160s-180s during full panic attacks, this is completely normal too.

I would strongly recommend (and I'm afraid I know what I'm talking about here....) that you try not to focus on your heart rate. Getting this on your mind is not a good thing. You have to trust that your heart is completely normal and heart rate variations actually is a good sign.

On a Holter test (24 hours ECG) my heart rate varied from 38 during deep sleep to 180 when I was sprinting to the bus. My cardiologist had one word to describe it: Normal.
