A-fib/tachycardia

My husband is in Jeff for 2 weeks . Finally it seemed as though the combo of a cardioversion and amaridone(excuse the spelling) had him in sinus rhythym at a heart rate in the 90's. Apparently his liver enzymes were raised by the med and the lower does is not working for the quick heart beat. So far he remains in Sinus. He is on a small dose of corig, when that was increased in the past it caused his blood pressure to go down. The first cardioversion was given with solitol to follow, but he was out of sinus in 2 days.

Any suggestions? Help.

Most of your post is understood by me, but not the "..is in Jeff for two weeks" - so ignoring that part I will comment that it is very common for people to go in and out of NSR when trying to convert.

Were the medical driven conversions done in the hospital?  Has he been out of the hospital and in NSR (Normal Sinus Rhythm)  ... for how long?

Another question, has electric defibrillation (electrocardioversion) been tried?  In my experience the use of electo conversion followed by lower "impact" meds such as propafenone has worked for extended periods, not permanent, however.
