A long run of PVCs

Anyone had a long run of PVCs?  By long I mean 3 days or more pretty much non stop.  Not one every five minutes.  Just non stop.  No pain (other than the anxiety they cause).  Can't really exercise other than walk.  I weigh more than I should but work out a lot.  Resting HR around 50, but highish BO (128zone/high 80 and change) - drink too much - a habit I am changing now.  I've had PVCs on and off all my life.  Until recently they'd only last minutes or an hour.  About 18 months ago, I had my first episode lasting more than an hour.  Recently, they've lasted a day and I am now on 2 days and 20 hours.  Not crazy big and seem to be easing (until I think they are easing!!!).  Aggravating.  Went to the Er the first time it happened a long time ago.  Doc said benign.  Not really wanting to go in again if I can get them to resolve.  The "tricks" (ice water, cold shower, breathing tricks) feel good, but have never worked.  Has anyone ever resolved them through exercise (i.e., go for an easy run or swim while having an episode)?  Thanks much.  This is not fun.

Thanks Bromley.  I had a calcification scoring done recently - 97.  At 52 years old, higher than I expected, but my doc did not think it merited additional scrutiny.  Put me on Lipitor for the Cholesterol.  Losing weight and drinking less.  The recent bout with PVCs ended the night before last.  About 3 days and 4 hours total.  Longest I've ever experienced by far.  Not terribly severe, but more than annoying.  Didn't try working out while they were occurring - not sure that I could have.  Didn't get particularly winded walking around or up stairs, but did not feel great either.

Thanks again for the input.  I will get them checked out.

Hi. I don't see any mention of what testing the doctor did to determine that your PVC's are of a benign origin. To me, this would be important. It would probably not hurt to go get this checked out.  The risk is that heart disease, or some source of ischemia is contributing to the issue. While you have seen a doctor already, you sure don't want to miss an opportunity to check into these symptoms to make sure everything is OK.
