what is the use of taking the ceruvin tablet after angioplasty?is it necessary to take further

I had to look up Ceruvin.  It is a combination of clopidogrel (US name Plavix) and aspirin.  It is very important to take clopidogrel after a stent.  There is a risk of a blood clot forming in side the stent.  Clopidogrel (Ceruvin) significantly decreases the risk. MAKE SURE YOU TALK TO YOUR DOCTOR BEFORE STOPPING THIS MEDICATION.

I understand that it is expensive.  Shop around on the price and you might be able to find it cheaper somewhere.
