Abnormal Heart Rhythm

i am new to this forum,
e week back, i found something has happend in my chest, i was feeling uneasy, no sweat or pain for few hours, after an hour i was feeling pain in my chest, i was feeling my heart was hanging some where. i was unable to sleep.

i went to doctor he said i am having high BP 140/100 and my rhythm was not good, he said evey 5 beat one beat was skipping. ECG was abnormal. He advice me Atenol 25 mg with Panspeed 40 mg. for 2 days i was feeling the same effect. now i bit ok.


after a week there is no skipping in beat ECG is normal, Echo is normal, now my bp is 12/80. can any one guide me in this regard? can this cause any further problems?

Sounds like you did the right thing, going to the Doctor, being tested, and taking your medications. If you would please, what exactly is Panspeed?

I trust that you are not having as many skipped beats as before? I have taken a Beta Blocker (such as Atenolol, which I am taking now) for about the last 20 to 25 years. Helps keep the blood pressure low and reduces the number of skipped beats that I feel. Sometimes the skipped beats get worse even when I am taking the Beta Blocker. Skipped beats are not usually serious, but if you never had them and start getting them, you should see a Doctor. You already did this, good for you.

What further problems are you concerned about? Keep following up with your Doctor as required.

Thanks for your Comments, my age in my concern now i am 27. Panspeed is Pantocid 40  (Pantoprazole 40 mg) since i have reflux problem also.
