Advice, please ! Strange, accute heart "beat", gasp for air !!

by Swede1775, May 07, 2008 12:57AM
I'm a 25y/o male. I had stayed in very good shape throughout my life with a strict excersize program and diet until about 3 years ago. I have smoked cigarettes on and off for the past 7 years, and I just quit for good. I have experimented with various drugs, such as cocaine and ecstasy in my youth, but not for an extended period of time. I do use smokeless tabacco of the "dip" variety, but steadily lessening the amount per day.

I have used steroids, on and off for the past 4 years, to include: Testosterone, T3(thyroid hormone), clenbuterol, DNP, Deca durabolin, Masteron, Equipoise, Nolvadex, Proviron, Ephedrine, Human Growth Hormone and Trenbolone(all 3 varieties, too !)

During the past year, I have noticed a "thump" in my chest. Obviously, I notice this "thump" mostly while laying in bed before I fall asleep. More recently, I have begun to suffer from a sudden shortness of breath, usually while talking. I'll have to stop talking, take a breath and then return to the conversation. I have not patterned a link between the "thump" and the "lack of" breath, yet, though.

I cannot pattern either of the 2 occurances in conjunction with steroid usage either, although, I can tell you that trenbolone is noturious for causing shortness of breath, but only while on an active treatment. Thyroid Hormone, in access, can cause palpitations.

Now, I had not been on any steroids, including Trenbolone or Thyroid hormone for the past year, until about 2 weeks ago, as I started a Thyroid Hormone(25mcg daily, increasing to no more than 75mcg daily), Human Growth Hormone(2iu daily) and Testosterone(600mg weekly) treatment. During my "off time" I still suffered from both syptoms (symptoms).

I quit smoking in hopes that it would help with my sudden "lack of" or shortness of breath.Too soon to tell.

My lifestyle needs some revamping, but I plan to return to my stricter diet, consuming very little red meat, more fish, chicken, whole grains, veggies and fruits.

I suppliment with most normal vitamins, including essential fatty acids.

Any advice, suggestions(I know, stop using steroids !) and/or precautions would be greatly appreciatted. This situation has me extremely worried, especially at such a young age.

p.s. I have noticed that when I voluntarily breath deep and slow, the shortness of breath can be felt even while not talking, but it is VERY, VERY mild, the "thump", cant tell if I feel that while breathing deep and contorlled.

Please feel free to email your response to my email: ***@****

Thank you SO MUCH !!
