Any asthmatics out there?

I know this is not neccesairily the right forum but as my question is related to both, i'm wondering if any of you can answer it!
I take symbicourt twice daily (morning and night)  but I don't have a reliever inhaler due to Svt/IST difficulties but seem to be having a flare up, wheezy standing and sitting and just general chest heaviness -although that could be related to my heart issues! Any ideas on what I should do to relieve wheeziness/chest tightness?

Thanks for replying! Yes I think I'll have to, you don't think an extra does of symbicourt is a good idea do you until I ring him? The wheezing stopped again although my chest was still heavy but it's started again this evening. I actually tend to have most problems with my asthma in winter! I don't generally notice it as being worse around this time of year.. I had a Zyrtec tablet for ecg sticker rash in Tuesday and I'm wondering whether this is responsible for a flare up.. I'm still in the process of fixing up my heart difficulties and am without medication (IST) can't take beta blockers because of asthma and no relief with calcium Channel blockers, I'm tempted to take some salamol but I'm wondering if this flare up is affecting my Svt, I had an ablation in Novemebr and have had runs of skips since but nothing of the usual Svt, Yet today has been the closest I've had for it getting through scar tissue! What do you think?

I would call your Dr as it sounds like you need something like Albuterol but you don't use one because it triggers your SVT.  As an asthmatic and somebody with SVT and atrial tachycardias, I use Advair daily and have an albuterol inhaler if needed.  While the albuterol can cause some tachycardia, Albuterol doesn't stay in the system for all that long and I value my breathing more than my SVT most days.  I do have Diltiazem that I can take as needed for tachycardia and also take Flecainide twice daily.  Do you normally have more trouble this time of year with your asthma because of allergies?  Maybe taking something like Zyrtec everyday could help as well.  Also maybe look around your environment to see if there are triggers for your wheezing that you could eliminate or reduce, such as washing any curtains, cleaning your mattress, eliminating indoor plants, adding an air filter, etc.  The best bet though would be to call your regular Dr and discuss it with them.
