Because I have PSVT my heart rate can jump as high as 198 without any particular trigger, bounce along there for awhile and then blip - drop back to normal which, in my case, is around 60 when resting (reading a book for example). The low 60's are not considered bradycardia. I think the heart rate has to be below 50.

Hi.  Normal heart rate is 60-100.  I see people in the 50's a lot, but they are either athletes or older!  And almost ALL of us have what you have here.  Some with no diagnoses at all as our hearts are normal.  I have the gambit.  YET, there is NOTHING wrong with me.  I just had a mega amount of labs done and I am in the middle of every normal value.  You would think I was the healthiest person on the planet.  Always get checked out by a doctor if you have cardiac symptoms, but when they come back with that THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH YOU diagnosis, don't hit them!  hahahah

I know the feeling I have been from the teens to the hundreds on the drop of a hat, Thank God for meds and technology. My rate now stays 45-65, my pacer is set at 40 for brady and ICD shocks at 180.

That is my main problem at the moment. I can randomly tach up close to 200bpm and then suddenly drop junctional, which means my rate will drop into 20s, 30s, 40s....anyhwere under 60. This drop happens in seconds and then makes my blood pressure drop too and I end up passing out. They are stilling trying to figure out all the details with whats wrong with me but I generally have neurocardiogenic syncope/pots with some psvt and junctional escape rhythms. Outside of that though..its the you're perfectly healthy all labs look great diagnosis...except you pass out almost daily, sorry about that! I guess it would all depend on what other symptoms you have, if any.
