Anyone consider antidepressants?

I know I know...i have an issue with taking medication...but i've been suffering for 2 years...and these pvcs, pacs, etc...are causing me a lot of anxiety and it's ruining my life...i constantly think about it and it's driving me crazy...I took paxil 5 years ago..for 8 months and it changed my life....it really really helped me...and i didn't get one pvc....so i thought about going on it again...only at 10mg....and it's my fifth day...and i'm doing it very slowly...like 1mg today, 2mg tomorrow and so forth...but so far I feel less anxious and it's settling that bufferfly feeling i have in my stomach 24/7....i really think pvc can be brought on by a list of things...including IBS...which i know i have...and paxil is settling my stomach so i don't get as many....and also hormones...i don't think paxil will help settle my hormones but it will definitely take my anxiety away...which i'm so tired of having all the time....
i know antidepressants are hard to get on because of the list of side effects but if you go on it slowly then you won't get as many...i'm on my fifth day and hardly have any side effects...i know you don't have a sex drive...and so forth...but you tend to value the art of intimacy more when you're on these drugs...
i hate taking drugs but i'm at my wits end...i need something and these heart issues are really really depressing me...

give them time to work, it may take a few weeks from my experience.  Also, when quitting, wean yourself off very very gradually to avoid side effects.

Sounds like you are on the right track with treating anxiety.  I assume you are under the care of a doctor, that's how you got the medication and you doctor knows you are taking it.

My wife has had problems with stomach upset, I think it was from the anxiety med, but it could be due to the anti-depression med, I can ask if it would be helpful to you to know. I am sure the anxiety med makes her tired.

I do believe that both anxiety and depression medications take time to work, that is they don't make one feel better the first day, or even the first week.
