Arrhythmia

I have A-fib, PACs, PVS and a hole in my heart.  Does this criteria allow me to post on this board or shall I skip straight to the cardiac neurosis board?

Well, those are all rhythm problems and this is a rhythm board. I have PAC's, PVC's and PSVT (don't you love all those letters?) but can't think of anything to say about it them. They just are. . . . blecchh.

Is that all?  Silly.  Hopefully those who are really struggling with their worries can find some comfort here.  Even after all these years I still have my days!  But mostly, thanks to this place, I'm okay...hence the reason I never have a problem with people who post about their PAC/PVC fears.  It's hard to believe sometimes that all the flip-flopping is not going to hurt you.  Sometimes all a person needs is just a little support.  That's why I keep coming back - there are new people every day that feel just as frightened and confused as I did 13 years ago, and I hope to help ease their fears.

Very well said.  I agree with you completely.  I have days where I handle it very well or have so few that they don't bother me.  Those are the days I am on here giving out advice and trying to reassure others.  Other times when I am getting slammed and I am scared to death, I am either reading about other's experiences or asking  my own questions.  I thought that was what support is all about.  Either way, I get reassurance and peace of mind from this forum.  Thank you for all you have done personally to ease my fears.  Our situations are so similar and I take comfort knowing that I am not alone in my symptoms.  Thanks again!

I know exactly what you mean.  There were YEARS when I would have loved to find a forum like this.  I never felt like I was dying, but I felt awful....anxious, sick to my stomach, fearful, flip-flopping like a fish outta water!  Only, it lasted for days, weeks, etc.  Now, I don't worry so much, but like to try and help calm the fears of others.  Those of us who have been there, done that....have heavy hearts for the newbies.  However, I do think it is really important to listen first and foremost to your trusted doctor.  It may take awhile to find one that is understanding and easy to talk to, but they're out there, lots of 'em.

Have a great weekend!!  How's school going?  Finish that math class?
