Av node ablation

Thanks so much for replying!!!! My other concern is after researching it looks as if most people
can continue to have atrial fib after this av node ablation .My question is what does that feel like,
does it still feel as disturbing as befor the procedure?

My personal experience with the av nodal ablation is that my IST was minimal for the first 7 years after the ablation, but then it came back again.  I've read quite often that after about 5 - 10 years you have to have the procedure repeated.  I don't have any way of knowing what percentage of people need a repeat, but I'd opt for another one every few years considering how it improved my life when I had it done.
