Back numbness

I get episodes of back numbness it's on the left side under my scapula I also suffer from palpitations caused by anxiety is this anything that I need to be worried about?

Well the main thing is that you need a doctor to take a look at what is going on with you.  Its common to experience palps with anxiety i think most of us have gone thru that at one time or another.  As far as your back being numb....it really probably doesn't have anything to do w. the heart...it sounds like it could be the nerves in the back reacting to something that you may have done.  The sciatic nerve is the one nerve in the back that gives us most of the random symtoms but no matter what if it continues you'll want to see your family doc for this.....i definately would not be too worried tho.....
