I hope things work out well and soon. :)
thanks, I haven't done research lately because in Jan they told me no reason to worry about the leads being high since I'm not pacemaker dependent. I went to this EP after continually having problems and VT runs hoping he could figure out what's wrong.
Thanks for the info the medtronics units I knew about but Boston Sci hasn't had many problems that I've found but I'm going to ask more questions now. The lead fracture page I haven't seen yet though; going to go read it and try to figure out how to get this replaced or completely removed.
just scary to think it may really be the lead and leaking or won't work if I need it
that's confusing since what they said they ablated was lower ventricle and near the bundle of HiS I believe...I'll have to go back and read - I'm going to ask the cardiologist when I go back what the EP meant because I won't go back to the EP for 2 months so I can get all my testing done and meet with my cardio to figure out what to do next.
does any of this make sense to you? the EP is shaking his head over it lol I'm used to that though; guess I should have seen another EP sooner rather than wait almost 2 years
I am sorry to hear you still dont have answers yet. You probably have already done a ton of research yourself, but I found this link. It may not be what you are looking for, but it is really a good bit of informaion on broken leads.

The next link was just a brand with issues.

Left bundle (branch block) with inferior axis: The PVC origin at the right ventricle outflow tract, or the pulmonary valve.
LBBB because activation happens in right ventricle, and inferior axis because activation happens high up in the RV.
The bidirectional VT looks kind of cute on EKG, almost like bigeminy (but not as similar that they can be mixed up). What happens is that every second beat is a right ventricle PVC and every other is a left ventricle PVC. Here is a picture (or actually an article):

Did you see anything similar to that?
I forgot, has anyone had their PM/ICD leads leak or break?
I remember before reading something about dangers of it happening and that it could cause problems in your body - I think it was acute pain in the middle upper abdomen but it's been a year since the one cardiologist told me.
I know there's not a long list that can cause Polymorphic VT or I don't think [brain fog...just too emotional right now]. I'm just trying to figure out what he means - after so many hours I was exhausted and that was one of the last things he said.
ANS issues cause malignant heart arrhythmia's? I'll have to figure it out but my mind is too full of thinking of having to have the leads replaced; which I won't do, I'll just get them to take the device out - 2 years of problems I've had my fill of it.
An interesting thing he pointed out in my tests that I remembered a few minutes - on my holter it showed frequent runs of bigeminy of a left bundle inferior axis - no clue what it means - probably nothing but he asked me and I was clueless...
he also mentioned Hypertrophic CM and made sure I knew what Autonomic Dysfunction means and that probably no doctor will ever be able to treat me medically since most options have been exhausted and I have continued w/o improvement with meds & PM/ICD.
Oh, I guess you want an answer from me on this one;)
I don't know. That condition usually gives PVT with stress. One easy way to find out: Ask your doctor if you have bidirectional ventricular tachycardia. This one is the sign of the condition (or digitalis intoxication but that don't apply to you)
