Bicuspid Aortic Valve

Bicuspid Aortic Valve

I was recently diagnosed with MVP by 3 different doctors.  However, I recently went to a new heart doctor who did a TEE test.  She stated that my mitral valve was 'perfect' and that I have a bicuspid aortic valve.

I still have chest pains, about twice a week.  At night, I have SCARY spells of a 'sinking feeling' (not like passing out where you feel a 'warning sign').. but a feeling of suddenly just going 'unconscious'!   I bought a wrist BP monitor and last night started testing my BP upon laying down... just prior to falling asleep.

My BP is almost ALWAYS around 120/70.  However, at night, after laying down and resting, it is registering at around 76/53 (or lower 60's over 50's) with a pulse of around 52 or so.  The last time I was in the hospital, my pulse went as low as 40-42 beats per minute.

They claim my arteries are fairly 'clean' and she put me on Lipitor and said it's just something we need to watch and that I probably won't have any further problems except (perhaps) as I age.  Easy for someone to say who isn't living with the 'angina pains' or scary blackout feelings at night!

I'm 42... don't want to continue living this way.  Someone recommended CHELATION therapy and it changed his life.  He had basically the same similar problems... Any insight you can offer is MOST appreciated!    WAITING TO BE WHOLE AGAIN..... rambo
