Hello. Been having PAC's and PVC's for 18 months now, at least to my knowledge. More PAC's than PVC's. Heart has been checked out and deemed structurally fine, although I have not had any EP studies. My belief is the PAC's/PVC's are a result of a bacteria or parasite infection, possibly Lyme disease.
My docs tell me I'm just one of the "lucky" ones who happens to feel their PVC's.
Oh yes. Sometimes I have them and don't feel a thing; I just happen to hear the skipping beats while listening to my lungs (I have asthma). Most of the time my heart just does a happy littleLittle noses decongestant Little tummys jump in there. And I've had times that it hits so hard, so frequently I can't fall asleep. Thank goodness for cross word puzzles and books.
You feel some and not others because there are more than one foci, meaning that there are several parts of your heart that are 'active' with the capability to create a PVC.
Wow, I just had that issue this morning. The kind I had this morning were the kind that I don't feel the early beat. I just feel a beat and the pause and then another beat. Is that because it is coming from a different foci and the timing is different? I hate the kind I had this morning because I feel them in my upper stomach and the pause seems extraExtra strength mylanta calci tabs Extra strength pain relief long.
Usually I feel the early beat and pause. I never have a strong beat after the pause which
confuses me too because so many people feel that thud after the pause.
Thanks in advanceAdvance care plus Advance relief for clearing this up.

The claim by many of the Lyme expert docs is the bacteria from Lyme or its co-infections can affect the nerves of the body and that would include the nerves of the heart. Many Lyme patients report cardiacCardiac catheterization Cardiac tamponade Left heart ventricular angiography symptoms including extra/skipped beats and usually ties in with a co-infection of Babesia and/or Bartonella.
For me, I have had other symptoms in addition to the PAC's and it all started up at the same time. I don't have an "official" Lyme diagnosis, but I have enough positive markers for Lyme bacteria and viruses to suggest my body has been dealing with some type of chronic infection.
So the severity of the feeling of the PAC/PVC is based on what part of the heart is misfiring? The heart is a bundle of nerves so I guess some nerves can be more sensitive than others.
Frenchie, what you may be feeling are interpolated PVCs, where there's no compensatory pause. There's a pic of an EKG with an interpolated pvc here: http://www.skippinghearts.com/articles/interpolated-pvc/
From the reading I've done, an interpolated PVC doesn't mean anything different diagnostically. You aren't any better or worse off because you have interpolated PVCs.
may not mean anything but definitely can be a sign of something if you havent had them before like myself.
I am being treated for Lyme as well I would agree with Ott, but not in all cases do some research if you yourself suspect it. Go search out a doctor for it. Dont wait. Especially if you may have Babesia.
Not saying everyones PVC is Lyme. But its worth checking into trust me.
Im only 22 yr old male and started having these this year for no apparent reason.
